Lindsay Adkins is a writer, actress, and educator living in the greater NYC area.
After 5+ years in print production, she recently left the New York publishing industry to complete her MFA in Creative Writing at Stony Brook Southampton. Currently, she works as a freelance editor and teaches middle school Language Arts. A recipient of the 2018 Amy Award from Poets & Writers, her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in Narrative, Electric Lit, Frontier Poetry, So to Speak Journal, Sugar House Review, The Southampton Review, Sequestrum, Typehouse Literary Magazine, Muse/A Journal, and others.
As an actress, Lindsay has performed at various theaters and venues across the northeast including Carnegie Hall, The Bushnell, The Producer's Club, The Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, and Luna Stage. Full résumé available here.
